This web page is dedicated to the general method for kinematic analysis of complex gear mechanisms.

On this page, you will find links to the publication submitted on the Journal of Mechanical Design (it explains all the method behind this software), to download the software (developped with MATLAB) and to a Read Me (giving information on how to use the software and examples). The objectives of the software are : to compute the rotational speed of all the links of the mechanism and to compute the contact frequencies in gear pairs and turning pairs.
