Data format

CFD DATA

Several commercial CFD solvers are supported by Epsilon by default:

• Fluent
• STAR CCM+
• elsA
• Open Foam
• SU2
• IC3
• TAU

CFD data from other solvers can be easily read by modifying a small Python script.

WIND TUNNEL DATA

Experimental data can be analyzed with Epsilon:

• PIV 2D2C
• PIV 2D3C (stereo)
• Five-hole probe

Currently, Dantec PIV is supported by default but other file formats can be read by using a custom-made data reader (supported by Epsilon PIV). Also, 5HP from VectoFlow is supported but the user can add its own format very easily.
